Villanova is preparing for their first Big East matchup of the season on Tuesday. They and the Seton Hall Pirates will face off at 7:30 p.m. ET at Finneran Pavilion. The Wildcats will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.

It was another big night for Eric Dixon, who went 9 for 13 en route to 27 points. The game was his third in a row with at least 22.4 points. Another player making a difference was Wooga Poplar, who went 7 for 13 en route to 19 points.
Meanwhile, Seton Hall suffered their closest loss since January 20th on Saturday. They lost 66-63 to Rutgers on a last-minute jump shot From Dylan Harper. The Pirates have now taken an ‘L’ in back-to-back games.
Seton Hall’s defeat shouldn’t obscure the performances of Isaiah Coleman, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals, and Emmanuel Okorafor, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds. Okorafor’s performance made up for a slower match against Okla. State on Sunday.
Villanova is on a roll lately: they’ve won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Seton Hall, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Villanova hasn’t had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 79.1 points per game. It’s a different story for Seton Hall, though, as they’ve been averaging only 60.4. The only thing between Villanova and another offensive beatdown is Seton Hall. Will they be able to keep them contained?
